Not So Currently..

I drink a lot of beer, and a read a helluva lot of books.. So I decided to make a list of what I've read and tasted in the past, especially because I'm too lazy to update the Currently page every time I open a new book or bottle.

Books

A Wrinkle in Time (and sequels) - Madeline L'engle
The Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling
Dragon's Blood - Jane Yolen
Silence of the Lambs - Thomas Harris
A Cup of Tea - I have no idea. It was laying around the house and I was too lazy to find something else. It wasn't memorable enough to recall the author :P
The Epic of Gilgamesh - some ancient Babylonians/Mesopotamians
Exile's Return - Gayle Greeno (it finally picked up after a few hundred pages :P)

Short Stories:
"Call Me Joe" - Poul Anderson
"Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed" - Ray Bradbury
"The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" - Ursula K. Le Guin
"Inconstant Moon" - Larry Niven
"Dogfight" - William Gibson and Michael Swanwick

Beer

...since May 2004

Sam Adams Boston Lager - Boston Brewing Co (well.. at least it's available everywhere)
Original Ale - Ipswich Brewery (s'alright. goes well with chips.)
Ommegang - Brewery Ommegang (yuuuuuuum. sweet, slightly winey, deligious. good fall beer)
Morimoto Hazelnut Brown Nectar - Rogue Ales (a nice evening beer, but it makes me crave chocolate milk)
Arrogant Bastard Ale - Stone Brewing Co
Bolt 117 Lager - Nashoba Winery (not too jazzy, but will go well with all foods)
Heron Ale - Nashoba Winery (The folks at BA should try this year's batch. Holy complexity! Smooth, sweet start with a biting finish to pop your eyes out. Yum.)
Barleywine - Nashoba Winery (uhh.. is it fall yet? OMGYUM)
Summer Stout - Nashoba Winery (I had it in as a float.. excellent base for some Breyer's vanilla!)
Summer Breeze Wheat Ale - Wachusett Brewing Co (weeeaaaak. er, I mean.. ;)
Country Ale - Wachusett Brewing Co (available in many places here, it's a fairly decent amber brew)
Bass Ale - Bass Brewers (my new beer of choice when I'm at a place with no micros and don't have room for Guiness)
Newcastle Brown Ale - Newcastle Breweries (smooth with a hint of brown sugar. not bad, but not spectacular)
George Washington's Tavern Porter - Yards' Brewing Co (definitely not my cuppa. rogue's mocha porter was much better)
